SPECIALISED PALLETS
Details:As we are now moulding and supplying 210 Litre Drums, we needed to have pallets to dispatch these on. Initially we considered a pool of returnable wooden pallets for the job, which we would need to purchase externally, then reconsidered.
As we blow mould plastic pallets, we may as well tool up and mould our own drum pallets from in-house regrind and post consumer recycled material (similar to the Envyro-Drums) as these returnable pallets only had the light load of 8 x empty drums to transport from our factory through to our customers sites.
From there, we investigated the market requirement for Drum Pallets suitable for storing and transporting drums once filled. As a result of this, we manuafcture the Drum Pallets in 2 weights. A lightweight pallet for empty drums and a heavyweight pallet for full drums.
The Drum Pallets have 4 x recessed rings to securely locate the drums into the pallets top face, and the undercarriage has recesses to enable the pallet to interlock onto beam racking for increased safety if these are racked.
As the pallet is square, we have only provided for 2 way entry, but have incorporated 4 x cutout areas in the base to permit the use of pallet trucks in addition to the more commonly used forklift.
