These Macro 450 litre pallet bins are fully vented and can stand up to heavy day-to-day use, season after season, yet are gentle on your produce and your workers. Rounded corners and smooth surfaces mean fewer scuffs, abrasions and cuts to soft fruits, berries, kiwifruit, avocado's as well as other food products where crushing can occur using bins with higher walls.
Multiple ventialtion slots in the walls and base facilitate the use of thermofogging, reduce heat absorption, and help your products cool down quicker in controlled air environments. Non porous surfaces will not absorb water or dehydrate your produce like wooden or cardboard based bins, and plastic bins always provide a constant tare weight throughout their use.
Lightweight construction reduces shipping costs and makes MacroBins easier to move; the direct load corner posts and interlocking skid design make them safer to use when stacking - up to 9 high. The Macro 450 litre pallet bins have unobstructed fork access from two sides.
We can also supply these in a solid format making them more suitable with processed food products.
