210 Lt Closed Head Envyro-Drum

After a lot of experimentation, trials, and in-house testing, we have succeeded in consistently producing the 210 litre closed head drum in an environmentally friendly package.  We call these the ENVYRO-DRUM.

On learning that we were commencing moulding drums in NZ, several clients approached us in regard to moulding drums in recycled material as they wished to show their customers their "Green" side and desire to be environmentally responsible when it came to packaging.  They also had to be competitive in comparison to pre-used, or recycled drums when it came to unit cost.

This has been achieved by combining a blend of post consumer recycled material, in-house regrind material, and adding some virgin material.  This has given us a container that will endure day to day handling in real life applications and effectively help us close the loop in the supply chain.  You too can become the 'ENVY' of your market segment and choose to use the ENVYRO-DRUM as your preferred drum packaging option.

Since they were released, we have had only positive feedback.  Our clients like it that they always get "NEW" drums now which are always the same shape and have the same bungs as opposed to what they used to get when they used pre-used drums.  This has sped up the filling times and regulated their freight costs.

We can generally offer the ENVYRO-DRUMS in Black, Dark Blue, and Dark Green and these are clearly marked as ENVYRO-DRUMS so that they are not mixed up with DG Approved Drums or Food Grade Drums.

All drums are supplied with twin Rieke 2 1/2" (63mm) coarse threaded bungs, with one of these fitted with a 3/4' BSP bung insert (un-pierced). 

The ENVYRO-DRUMS have a L-Ring fitted to the top edge to enable handling by parrot beak drum handling equipment.  Drums are supplied on specially designed blow moulded returnable Drum Pallets.  See under "Specialised Pallets" in the Pallet and Dollie section of this website.
